FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks closed higher on Friday and scored a sharp weekly gain. US stocks seesawed between small gains and losses following a sharp rally in global equities, which was helped by a comeback in commodities.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.2%, or 33.74 points, to 17,084.49 and printed its sixth consecutive daily gain. The The S&P 500 advanced 0.07% to 2,014.89 and has gained 3.3% over the week. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.41% , or 19.68 points, to 4,830.47 and gained 2.6% over the week.
