"Today is a holiday in Taiwan, S Korea and Hong Kong. This and a quiet regional data calendar should limit ranges today, with AUD/USD likely to gyrate either side of 0.7000, but not test the broader 0.6895 – 0.7140/50 range.
The US calendar is well worth noting, with Aug personal income and spending data and plenty of Fedspeak. Most notable will be NY Fed’s Dudley, speaking on monetary policy in the NY morning. Then we hear from Chicago dove Evans and (late) SF centrist Williams."
