"India Sep CPI will be released. Given the RBI’s 50bp cut at its last meeting, the inflation print should not be central for monetary policy decisions for a while. We will see Malaysia Aug industrial production. China Sep new loans is due at some point this week.
The US has the Columbus Day holiday. Bond markets are closed while equities are open but presumably volumes will be light. There will still be Fedspeak from Lockhart, Evans and Brainard on economic outlook and monetary policy, though with the numerous speeches lately there is not likely to be much new content. We will also hear from BoC governor Poloz."
